Job OverviewThe Tier 3 Technology Technician serves as the district's senior technical support specialist, providing expert-level troubleshooting, infrastructure management, and project leadership. This position is responsible for maintaining critical technology systems, including servers, storage platforms, network infrastructure, and enterprise applications. The Tier 3 Technician resolves complex technical issues escalated from Tier 1 and Tier 2 staff, leads major technology initiatives, and develops long-term solutions that enhance system reliability, security, and performance across the district.

Qualifications
    Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered. Extensive experience managing enterprise servers, storage systems, networking, and infrastructure technologies. Advanced knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization platforms, cloud services, and network administration. Experience leading technology projects and implementing enterprise-level solutions. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills. Industry certifications such as Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, CompTIA, or equivalent preferred.
    • Must obtain necessary clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprint clearances, and Mandated Reporter Training
    • Experience in K–12 education technology environments preferred.
