Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective instruction, fostering critical thinking, and supporting student learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards

• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to enhance student success

• Utilize technology and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instruction

• Participate in professional development and district initiatives

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Special Education Certification Required

• Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

• Prior teaching experience preferred

• Must obtain necessary clearances, including PA Child Abuse, PA Criminal Background, and FBI Fingerprint clearances.
