Job Title: Substitute Teachers (K–12)

Employment Type: Part-Time, As Needed

Position Summary

The Knoch School District is currently accepting applications for part-time Substitute Teachers to provide coverage in classrooms across all grade levels (K–12) as needed. Substitute Teachers support instructional activities, classroom management, and student learning under the direction of certified staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (required).
• Valid Pennsylvania teaching certification (preferred).
• Experience working with children in educational settings is helpful but not required.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and organizational skills.
• Must successfully obtain Act 24, Act 34, Act 114, and Act 151 clearances.
• Ability to adapt to different grade levels and classroom environments.

Compensation

• Building-Based Substitute: $135 per day
• Day-to-Day Substitute: $105 per day
• Retired Knoch Teacher: $120 per day
